If you have this much to splurge, try checking out the just- released Amazon Kindle DX which is the largest and most technologically advanced ebook reader to date. If you want the swankiest, shell out more than 1,000 dollars for the Flepia.

If your device doesn’t come with all the features you need, you’re just wasting your money. Make sure the battery will last for as long as you need it to.  Also be sure to try the device out before you buy it. Each one uses a different kind of screen and you want to make sure it doesn’t wear out your eyes. While  the most expensive ereaders come with the most features, that doesn’t necessarily make them the best ebook readers.

One of the most often disregarded features in these devices is the file compatibility the reader uses. For instance, not all of the models will read PDF  files, a very popular format. And since they may use different file formats for their books, the libraries you can choose from may be limited depending on  the reader you choose. For instance, Sony has a library of around 100,000 books, while Amazon’s Kindle gives you access to over twice that many at 250,000  books.

It doesn’t have to be a difficult process to choose an ereader, you just have to know what to look for. Getting the most expensive model may not be the  wisest choice for you. While the Flepia may come with a really nice touch screen, can you really justify spending about 1,000 dollars for it? That is a question that only  you can answer. No one can make the decision about which one is correct for you except for you. Don’t just look for the one with the most features, the best ebook reader is the one that suits your needs without  breaking your budget.
