The name Plantronics may not be familiar to most people, but for those who know, Plantronics is the leader in headphone, earphone and headset technology.  From its beginnings in the 1960s with the innovation of lightweight aviation headsets to its present day business solutions, Plantronics has been on the cutting edge of the industry.

The Calisto Pro home office system, for example, is a combination land-line cordless phone with over a 300 ft range, coupled on the same base with a Bluetooth headset.  It also functions as a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phone hooking into your PC for online calls.  It also switched functions and becomes a mobile phone, as well.  The new Savi Office phone system also combines functions in the same way, only on a larger scale for large businesses and call centers.
