Recently hitting the market on November 10, 2009, Patriot Memory released its digital media player the Patriot Box Office 1080P HD Media Player. This player gives you the ability to stream your movies in 1080p True HD, and other media from your computer to your living room. It is easy to set up and offers compatibility with both Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox as well. The Patriot Media Player is one of the most exciting media streamers to hit the market in 2009.
The Patriot Box Office HD offers some great functionality and is priced at only $129.99. You really are getting a lot for your money here. One unique thing that the Patriot Media Player offers is a 2.5 inch SATA hard drive slot that is compatible with any SSD/HDD. So as your media library continues to grow, you can add an internal hard drive to accommodate. The Patriot Box Office 1080p High Definition Media Player doesn’t come with any internal storage capacity, but it is nice to know that it could be added if you so choose.
Some people may choose to only use it as streaming HD media player, and that is fine, but the Patriot Box Office Wireless G USB Adapter is also available on Amazon. Another feature that jumps out is that this digital media player has lots of plugs and will work with any USB mass storage device. The Patriot Media Player comes with three USB 2.0 ports to accommodate more than one drive or peripheral. Also, the Patriot Box Office includes Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound processors providing 5.1 and 7.1 channel surround sound through your home entertainment system.
