Wireless Home Theater - Tell Me About Them

without comments

Well, basically it’s an improvement on those typical home theaters where there are cords running around furniture, under rugs, across walls, etc. A wireless home theater eliminates most of the wiring, except for those units which must be plugged into the wall for power (although some may operate on batteries to reduce the needs for cords even more).

Use Speakers to Create Incredible Surround Sound

A home theater has a receiver that transmits audio signals to the speakers and visual signals to the television. When setting up a home theater, the speakers must be arranged around the audience to create a surround sound experience. This means that speakers are placed in front of, behind and beside the audience members. This means that with traditional home theaters, it is necessary to plan the placement of these wires in a discreet way so that they will not mar the appearance of the home theater.

The speakers, when set up properly, will convey movement on the screen by allowing the different speakers to relay sounds that represent the left and right side of the screen and to enhance the illusion of movement further by playing background sounds that move from the front speaker to the back speaker. Without the careful placement of the speakers around the audience, it would not be possible to create a surround sound experience.

The Difference Between Integrated and Add-On Wireless Systems

If you have already built your home theater and would like to upgrade to a wireless home theater, you should find your solution in add-on units for wireless transmission. If you are planning to build a home theater and you plan to make it wireless, you will be interested in the integrated wireless systems.

Get Rid of the Wires

The choice of a wireless home theater means that, although there are still wires to contend with, at least with the wireless home theater speaker system, you will not have to design the layout of those multiple speaker wires. You will have greater flexibility and the added convenience of having wireless audio signals.

You’ll be so happy that you got rid of that old wired system and setup a incredible wireless home theater. In fact, if you plan carefully, you can have a really cool system that basically has no wires at all!
